2017 Aboriginal Awareness Weekend – Sept. 15 – 17, 2017
Now taking registrations for those who wish to reserve their spot at this year’s event.
We ask that all registration payments are made prior to the event.
Cancellations will be accepted until September 1st, however, there will be a $50.00 cancellation fee. The balance will be refunded.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after September 1st.
Here’s a breakdown of costs for accommodations at the Brownell Children’s Retreat, meals and activities:
Programming & Meal Costs:
1 – 5 guests/family – Member Cost: $125.00/weekend – Non-Members: $150.00/weekend
6 – 7 guests/family – Member Cost: $125.00/weekend – Non-Members: $200.00/weekend
9 – 12 guests/family – Member Cost: $225.00/weekend – Non-Members: $250.00/weekend
Friday Night: Snack, Coffee/Tea, Juice
Saturday: 3 Meals, Snacks, Coffee/Tea, Juice
Depending on the number of guests, you may need to book 2 rooms/2 cabins etc. to accommodate sleeping arrangements
Lodge Rooms (Most rooms sleep up to 5): $50.00 per night, per room- Total costs for 2 nights,(accommodations only) 1 room: $100.00
Cabins (Sleep up to 7) September evenings can be cool so please be aware, particularly if travelling with small children, we currently only have 4 heated cabins; the others are unheated.
Cabin costs: $50.00 per night, per cabin – Total costs for 2 nights (accommodations only), 1 cabin: $100.00
RV Sites with Hook Ups: $25.00 per night per site – Total costs for 2 nights (accommodations only), 1 site: $50.00
